Devendra Fadnavis, the devout BJP foot soldier, trusted lieutenant of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and the man credited with the saffron surge in Maharashtra in the recently concluded assembly elections wears many hats. As he gets set to embark on a new but unexplored journey as Maharashtra’s chief minister, there is one facet of Fadnavis that his supporters are eagerly waiting to learn more about it – his personal life.
Most of them know Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of the ex-chief minister, for her Instagram reels, catapulting her to social media stardom. The actress and singer is a professional banker and even vice president of Axis Bank.

Amruta was born in the year 1979, in Nagpur. She was schooled and did college before doing an MBA in finance and taxation laws from Symbiosis Law School, Pune. She is quite an active social cause supporter and has been honored by titles like Women’s Excellence Awards 2017 and Woman of Substance Award.
Divija is their only daughter. Her schooling has been at Cathedral School, Fort, Mumbai.
It was a historical comeback day for Devendra Fadnavis as he got elected as leader of the legislature party of the state paving the way to wearing the crown of chief minister once again on Wednesday.
The latter will consist of nearly 2,000 VVIPs and 40,000 supporters as the event is that of nearly 19 chief ministers, deputy CMs, plus several union ministers arriving at Azad Maidan to take oath as new state administrators of Maharashtra at an appointed ceremony scheduled on Thursday in Mumbai before PM Narendra Modi.
The Mahayuti alliance of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party has sealed power with a landslide in the assembly elections whose result was declared on November 23. The simple majority figure in the 288-member House is 145, but BJP has got 132 seats in their pocket, followed by Shiv Sena with 57 seats and NCP 41 seats.

He said it was a sensational victory of the BJP, which was the best way to award sincerity and discipline he has all along his lifetime crowns him chief minister, a section of BJP leaders and his supporter said.
